課程概述 |
Genome science has been one of the most blooming sciences in the past decade. The genomic information, released by the complete genome sequences of the dicot model plant, Arabidopsis, and of the monocot Poaceae, rice, and by the ongoing genome projects of other plants, provides various research methodologies and speeds up traditional researches. |
|
課程目標 |
This course will emphasize on genetic mapping, physical mapping, and genome sequencing and annotating to dissect plant genomes. Consequently, this course will introduce the applications of genomics in positional cloning, comparative mapping, genetic variation and breeding. |
